Austin City Council MINUTES August 18, 1988 - SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - 9:00 A.M Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Mayor Cooke called to order the meeting of the Council, noting the presence of all Council-members. The Mayor stated the purpose of the meeting was to hold a worksession on the Operating Budget for FY 1988-89. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M., recessed at 11:15 P.M.. meeting resumed at 2:00 P.M. and adjourned at 5:30 P.M. During the meeting hours, Council heard budget summaries from Emergency Medical Service Department, Health Department, Library, Parks and Recreation Department and Public Events Facilities.
