Austin City Council MINUTES For August 19, 1988 - SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - 1:00 P.M. Council Chambers, 307 VNfcst Second Street, Austin, Texas Mayor Cooke called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember CarlMitchell. The Mayor announced the purpose of the meeting was to hold a worksession on the operating budget for FY 1988-89. Council heard reports from the Resource Management Department and the Water and Wastewater Department concerning their budgets for the coming fiscal year. Council lost its quorum at 3:30 P.M. and stopped the special called Council meeting at 3:55 P.M.
