Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - August 22, 1988 - 4:00 P.M Council Chambers, 307 V\fcst Second Street, Austin. Texas Mayor Cooke called the meeting to order, noting the presence of all Councilmembers. Mayor Cook* stated that the purpose of the meeting was to hold a public hearing on the operating budget and fees for FY 1988-89. Mayor Cooke then opened the hearing to members of the audience. Individuals who spoke have cards on file in the City Clerk's Office. At the conclusion of the hearing, on Councilmerober Carl-Mitchell's motion, Councilmember Urdy's second, the Council closed the hearing. (7-0.vote) ADJOURNMENT The Council adjourned at 10:40 p.m.
