Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - AUGUST 24,1988 - 9:00 A.M. Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Mayor Cooke opened the special called meeting of the Council* noting the absence of Councilmembers Carl-Mitchell and Urdy. Mayor Cooke announced the purpose of the meeting was to hold a worksession on Operating Budget for FY 1988-89. Tim Ward, Director of Aviation, reviewed the Aviation Budget. Jim Hall reviewed General Services. Financial Services budget was discussed by Earl Hoenes, acting director. Stephen Klepper reviewed the Audit budget and Jonathan Davis, Acting City Attorney, explained the Law Department's proposed expenditures. Council adjourned its meeting at 12:10 P.M.
