) | Y OF AUSTI FOUNDED 1934 Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas - AUGUST 26, 1988 - 9:00 Α.Μ. Mayor Cooke called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmembers Carl-Mitchell and Nofziger and Mayor Pro Tem Shipman. The Mayor announced the purpose of the meeting was to hold a worksession on the proposed 1988-89 Capital Budget and 6-Year Capital Improvements Program. Sarah Farley, City Budget Officer, presented an overview of the Capital Improvements Program. Representatives of Resource Management Department, Electric Utility, Airport, Public Events Facilities, Transportation and Public Service Department, and the Water and Wastewater Department, reviewed proposed CIP projects of their departments. Council adjourned its meeting at 3:55 Ρ.Μ.
