Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Mayor Cooke called to order the meeting of the Council at 1:25 Ρ.Μ., noting the presence of all Councilmembers. (Council had met from 1:20 to 1:25 P.M. for a meeting of the Austin Housing Finance Corporation.) MINUTES APPROVED The Council, on Mayor Pro Tem Shipman's motion, Councilmember Humphrey's second, approved minutes for regular meeting of December 1, 1988 and special meeting of November 29, 1988. (5-0 Vote, Councilmembers Carl-Mitchell and Urdy out of the room) CITIZEN COMMUNICATIONS Mr. Kendall Thomas withdrew his request to speak. Ms. Lori Cervenak-Renteria discussed homeless affairs. Mr. Gil Johnson discussed inspection requirements. Mr. Jerry Lawson talked about "wide-area energy management" field test in Austin commercial sector by Oak Ridge Laboratory and U.S. Department of Energy. Ms. Ingrid Weigand and Mr. Frank Morrow talked about public access television, as did Ms. Linda Litowsky. Mr. Albert Stowell did not appear to speak. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooke announced Council would go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting. 1.
