こ Austin City Council MINUTES For REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING ELECTRIC UTILITY MATTERS Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas - December 13, 1988 - 3:00 Ρ.Μ. Mayor Cooke called to order the meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember Nofziger. ELECTRIC UTILITY COMMISSION REPORT Al Fairweather presented the Electric Utility Commission Report on the Audit by Cresap. MONTHLY MANAGEMENT REPORT John Moore, Director of Electric Utility, presented the City Manager Report concerning Monthly Management (Fiscal, Operations, Fuel) CONSENT RESOLUTIONS The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Mayor Cooke's second, adopted the following resolutions all in one consent motion: (6-0 Vote, Councilmember Nofziger absent) Contracts Approved Merico Abatement Contractors 701 Gum Springs Road Longview, Texas 75602 Thorpe Products Co. Electric Utility. Twelve month service agreement. $233,069.80 - Pipe insulation and related items at power plants (related to maintenance overhaul). Electric Utility. Twelve month supply agreement. $41,473.00 88-0309-OM - Audit of natural gas and electric energy purchases. Electric Utility Not to exceed $62,650.00 Postponed until December 15, 1988 is consideration of a resolution to authorize the City Manager or his designee to enter into a Council Memo 2 12/13/88 professional services agreement with HDR, Inc. for assistance in development of a cost estimate for sale of the resource recovery generation plant, not to exceed $91,000. (CIP No. 85-12-05) EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooke announced Council would go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for the meeting. 1.
