Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - JANUARY 23-lL 1989 - 5:30 P.M. Council Chambers, 307 VXbst Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: X Mayor Cooke called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember Carl-Mitchell. Mayor Cooke announced the purpose of the meeting was an informal news conference, "City Council in Concert". Mayor Cooke, members of the Austin City Council, State Senator Gonzalo Barrientos, Maline McCalla, co-chair of the Austin ISO Commission, and Judge Bill Aleshire, Travis County Commissioners Court, outlined their goals, priorities and visions for the New Year. Cactus Pryor served as Master of Ceremonies. The meeting was adjourned at 7:20 P.M.
