FOUNDED 1920 Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas - June 20, 1989 - 4:00 Ρ.Μ. Mayor Pro Tem Shipman called to order the special called meeting of the Council at 5:18 P.M., noting the absence of Mayor Cooke and Councilmember Barnstone. MEETING CANCELLED The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Councilmember Humphrey's second, waived the requirement for three readings and finally passed, on EMERGENCY basis, an ordinance cancelling the regularly scheduled Council meeting of June 22, 1989. (5-0 Vote, Mayor Cooke and Councilmember Barnstone absent.) ITEM POSTPONED Postponed indefinitely is presentation of status report of projects by the Economic Development and International Trade Department. ADJOURNMENT Council adjourned its meeting at 5:20 P.M.
