Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - July 31, 1989 EXECUTIVE SESSION Council Chamber*. 307 Vfet Second Street, Austin. Tex« - 11:00 A.M. Mayor Cooke called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councllmember Carl-Mitchell. Mayor Cooke announced the purpose of the meeting was to hold an executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation, and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject of matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for the meeting. 1. Land Acquisition - Section 2, Paragraph f (a) Discuss proposals for convention center site selection The Council recessed its special called meeting for executive session at 11:22 p.m. and adjourned its meeting at 11:32 p.m. The Mayor announced no action would be taken as a result of the session.
