ت FOUNDED 1930 Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - 10:30 Α.Μ. August 22, 1989 FIRST FLOOR ASSEMBLY ROOM TOWN LAKE CENTER - 721 BARTON SPRINGS Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas ROAD Mayor Cooke called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember Urdy and Mayor Pro Tem Shipman. Mayor Pro Tem Shipman arrived later to attend the afternoon session of the meeting. Mayor Cooke announced the purpose of the meeting was to hold a budget worksession. Water and Wastewater Department Byron Marshall, Assistant City Manager, referred to a report, copy of which is on file in the City Clerk's office. He then highlighted the pertinent points. Ron Bond, Acting Director, Water and Wastewater Department, went over the details of the budget and referred to charts, copies of which are on file in the City Clerk's office. RECESS Council recessd from 12:00 Noon to 1:48 Ρ.Μ. Electric Utility Byron Marshall reviewed the Electric Utility budget. John Moore, Director, Electric Utility, explained the budget and illustrated with graphs and posters. Copies of the graphs are on file in the City Clerk's office. ADJOURNMENT Council adjourned its meeting at 3:10 Ρ.Μ.
