Y OF AUSTI E E PULADID 1839 Austin City Council MINUTES For September 19, 1989 SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - 3:00 Ρ.Μ. Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Mayor Cooke called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember Urdy. CONVENTION CENTER The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Councilmember Nofziger's second, approved a supplemental amendment to PSI for services required by the City in connection with hazardous waste study being conducted by PSI on the Austin Convention Center property at a cost not to exceed $28,200.00. (6-0 Vote, Councilmember Urdy absent) TML The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Mayor Pro Tem Shipman's second, adopted resolutions to be submitted to the delegates at the Texas Municipal League 1989 Annual Conference. (6-0 Vote, Councilmember Urdy absent) The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Councilmember Nofziger's second, adopted a resolution approving of a resolution to be submitted to the delegates of the National League of Cities 1989 Annual Conference. (6-0 Vote, Councilmember Urdy absent) ITEMS PULLED Pulled from the agenda was an amendment to project management services contract with Gilbane Building Company. Postponed was an agreement between the City of Austin and engineer/architect in connection with the City of Austin Art Museum project. The executive session was not held. ADJOURNMENT Council adjourned its meeting at 5:33 Ρ.Μ.
