Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - January 16, 1990 - 4:00 P.M. CONTINUATION OF WORKING RETREAT Council Chamber*, 307 V*»i Second Street. Auitln. Tex»» , Mayor Cooke called to order the special called meeting of the Council, at 6o23 P.M., noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Shipman and Councllmember Barnstone. He announced the purpose of the meeting was a continuation of their working retreat. Dr. Barnett, City Manager* referred Council to the outlines they had received of issue papers for Water and Wastewater, Environment & Conservation Strategic Plan, Financial Issues, and Parks and Recreation Services. Mayor Cooke asked Council if there were any changes they would like to see. There were none so the Mayor Instructed the City Manager to proceed. Mayor Cooke said he would like to have a study done to determine whether or not the entire golf program can be privatized. The meeting was adjourned at 6:26 P.M.
