Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEET-ING - February 13, 1990 - 3:00 P.M. Council Chambers. 30? Wtsl Second Street, Austin. Texas Mayor Pro Tern Shipman called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Cooke and Councilmember Urdy. The time was 4:24 P.M. The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Councilmember Nofziger's second, waived the requirement for three readings and finally passed the following ordinances all in one consent motion: (5-0 Vote, Mayor Cooke and Councilmember Urdy absent) Approved an ordinance regarding the Lower Colorado River Authority's request to make an electric rate refund. Approved an ordinance denying Texas Utilities Electric Company's request for authority to change its rates within the City's corporate boundaries. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 4:25 P.M. /
