: Austin City Council MINUTES For - - 10:00 Α.Μ. SPECIAL CALLED MEETING July 18, 1990 AUSTIN HISTORY CENTER - 810 GUADALUPE, AUSTIN, TEXAS Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas 1 Mayor Cooke called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the presence of all Councilmembers. The Mayor announced the purpose of the meeting was a working retreat. The following discussions were held: Debt Management Plan (90-94) led by Bill Newman; Review of key City financial accounts: Other City issues, Betty Dunkerly; Endangered Species Update, Austan Librach; Brackenridge Laundry Privatization, Byron Marshall; City employees making over $45,000 and their tenure, Byron Marshall; Staff costs for boards and commissions, Byron Marshall; Format for a line item City budget. 1989 ! Discussion was also held on the 10 goals adopted by the City Council on December 14, 1990eL Council directed that an item be placed on the August 16, 1990 agenda for action concerning adoption of a resolution for FY 1990-91 Goals. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooke announced Council would go into executive session, pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for the meeting. 4. Personnel Matters - Section 2, Paragraph e a. Provide direction to City Manager. RECESS AND ADJOURNMENT Council recessed at 1:35 p.m. for executive session and adjourned its meeting at the conclusion of the session, at 2:35 p.m.
