Austin City Council MINUTES August 14, 1990 - SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - BUDGET HEARING TOWN MEETING REAGAN HIGH SCHOOL - 7:30 P.M. Mayor Cooke called to order the special called meeting of the Council, which met at 7:30 P.H. in the Reagan High School Auditorium, 7104 Berkman Drive, for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on the 1990-91 Operating Budget. Mayor Cooke noted the absence of Councilmember Nofziger. Speaker's cards are on file in the City Clerk's office. Main topics which citizens discussed were library hours, parks needed in East Austin, the closing of a swimming pool without notice, and the Carver Museum. The special called Town Meeting was adjourned at 9:05 P.M.
