Austin City Council MINUTES For January 25, 1991 Mayor Cooke called to order the meeting of the City Council Legislative Sub-Committee held January 25, 1991 at Hi00 A.M. in the Conference Room 300 of the Municipal Building, 124 Vest 8th Street. Mayor Cooke noted the presence of Councilmembers Barnstone, Carl-Mitchell and Epstein. Discussion of legislative initiatives for the 72nd Regular Session of the Texas Legislature. a. Status report on legislation for vhlch the City of Austin vill seek introduction and passage. b. Report on bills filed vith major impact on the City of Austin. Members of the Legislative Sub-Committee discussed Bouse Bill 373 regarding an airport authority and E.B. 374 regarding Bergstrom Air Force Base.
