SPECIAL CALLED MEETING Mayor Todd called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmembers Epstein and Reynolds. Mayor Todd announced the purpose of the meeting was to go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting. 1. Personnel Matters - Section 2, Paragraph g Acting Municipal Court Clerk - Personnel Issues RECESS session. Council recessed its meeting from 4:02 to 4:31 P.M. for executive ACTION ON THE FOLLOWING Councilmember Garcia made a motion, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Urdy "that the Council appoint Joseph L. Lessard as Municipal Court Clerk, on an acting basis, effective immediately. Mr. Lessard shall assume all duties, power and responsibilities set forth in the City Charter, local and state laws; furthermore this motion contemplates that the present Municipal Court Clerk shall relinquish all responsibilities, powers and duties of that position to Joseph Lessard, effective immediately upon passage of this motion.
