Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - August 14, 1991 TOWN LAKE CENTER 9:00 Α.Μ. - Mayor Todd called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Urdy, Councilmembers Epstein and Larson. Mayor Todd announced the purpose of the meeting was for a worksession on: 1. Comprehensive Watershed Ordinance/explanation of background data 2. Urban Watershed Ordinance/Conceptual Plan for Water Quality Management 3. Discussion of Urban Watershed Ordinance and Comprehensive Vatershed Ordinance Austan Librach, Director of Environmental and Conservation Services, introduced Frank Houston, specializing in storm water management; Les Tull and Steve Stecher, engineers; and environmental officer Joe Calabrese. Mr. Librach discussed the conceptual plan for vater quality management in Austin's urban watersheds and Town Lake. Councilmember Garcia left the meeting at 10:52, thus losing a quorum. However, presentation and discussion continued until 12:05 Ρ.Μ.
