こ AUSTI 1. Austin City Council MINUTES For CITY COUNCIL'S AVIATION SUB-COMMITTEE November 04, 1991 11:30 Α.Μ. TOWN LAKE CENTER - Mayor Pro Tem Urdy called to order the meeting of the City Council's Aviation Sub-Committee, noting that the Mayor and all members of the Council vere present. Discussion of Master Plan Consultants for New Austin Airport. Mayor Todd stated Council would have a thorough discussion of all three firms on the short list, including selection process and methodology. Joe Lessard, Assistant City Manager, presented the report to Council, illustrating with slides. Copy of slide presentation is on file in the City Clerk's office. Charles Gates, Airport Director, went over the RFP. After much discussion by Council, Kelly Brown, airlines representative, said they want to feel like partners in the process and "would feel uncomfortable if during the next 18 months process the-staff is negated on all decisions". A representative of the FAA stated that all firms on the short list are qualified and they are ready, in Fort Worth, to write checks. He said the Austin City staff is impressive.
