Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - March 25, 1992 TOWN LAKE CENTER - 1:30 P.M. Mayor Todd called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tern Urdy and Councilmember Epstein. The Hayor announced the purpose of the meeting vas to hold a vorksession on Balcones Canyonland. VORKSESSION 1. Balcones Canyonland Conservation Plan 1:30 P.M. - 2:15 P.M. - Staff Presentation 2:15 P.M. - 3: oo P.M. - Discussion on Balcones Canyonland Conservation Plan These subjects vere taken in reverse order rather than as listed. • Dr. Kent Butler, consultant, discussed the Plan by means of slides and naps. Be outlined the fourteen species of concern in the Balcones Canyonland Conservation Plan. Austan Librach, Environmental and Conservation Services Director, discussed the City of Austin and the BCCP. Reports are on file in the City Clerk's office. After discussion and questions by Council, the meeting adjourned at 3tl5 P.M.
