POUNDED 1939 Austin City Council MINUTES 1. - SPECIAL CALLED MEETING April 14, 1992 CONLEY-GUERRERO SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTER 6:30 Ρ.Μ. Mayor Todd called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmembers Larson, Epstein and Nofziger. The Mayor announced the purpose of the meeting was to hold a public hearing on the East Austin Tank Farm and to go into Executive Session concerning items for HOPE after having a meeting as the directors of the Austin Housing Finance Corporation. Public Hearing on East Austin Tank Farm. Speaker's cards are on file in the City Clerk's office. Among the speakers were representatives from Texas Air Control Board, Texas Vater Commission, Austin/Travis County Health Department, Representatives Delco and Maxey and Commissioners DeLeon and Biscoe. Motion The Council, on Mayor Pro Tem Urdy's motion, Councilmember Garcia's second, closed the public hearing. 4-0 Vote, Councilmembers Epstein, Larson and Nofziger absent. EXECUTIVE SESSION Council did not hold an executive session. The City Council will announce that it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated to receive advice from Legal Counsel, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and personnel matters. No final action will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting. 2. Pursuant to Article 6252-17, Paragraph 2f Discuss real property acquisition for the HOPE 2 Program RECESS Council recessed from 9:13 to 9:15 for an Austin Housing Finance Corporation meeting. ACTION ON THE FOLLOWING (action subject to the Austin Housing Finance MINUTES 1 4/14/92 Corporation approval of the agreement for real property acquisition) 3. Approved a resolution authorizing an agreement with the Austin Housing Finance Corporation to provide funding for real property acquisition for the Housing Opportunities for People Everywhere (HOPE) 2 Program. 4. On Councilmember Garcia's motion, Mayor Pro Ten Urdy's second, 4-0 Vote, Councilmembers Epstein, Larson and Nofziger absent. Approved a resolution authorizing the purchase of real property for implementation of the Housing Opportunities for People Everywhere (Hope) 2 Program. !
