: YOF AUSTAN POUNDED 1930 Austin City Council MINUTES - SPECIAL CALLED MEETING May 06, 1992 TOWN LAKE CENTER 1:30 Ρ.Μ. Mayor Todd called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Urdy. The Mayor announced the purpose of the meeting was to hold a worksession. WORKSESSION 1. Aviation Issue Paper Assistant City Manager Joe Lessard introduced the 1992 Airport Issue Paper Volume II to Council. He stated there are a number of items to work on before the transition occurs, changing Bergstrom from an Air Force Base to City property. Charles Gates, Director of the Airport, illustrated and discussed the development of the transition plan by means of slides and charts. Copies are on file in the City Clerk's office. (Councilmember Epstein left the Council Chamber at 2:30 P.M.) 2. Solid Waste Business Plan Update Joe Lessard introduced Joe Word, who went over the Solid Waste Services Plan Update. A copy is on file in the City Clerk's office. Mayor Todd left the meeting at 3:15 p.m., Councilmembers Larson and Reynolds left the meeting at 2:28 and 3:31 P.M. respectively.
