USI FOUNDED FAS Austin City Council MINUTES ! - August 12, 1992 1:30 Ρ.Μ. SPECIAL CALLED MEETING TOWN LAKE CENTER Mayor Todd called to order the Special Called Meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember Garcia and Councilmember Reynolds. Councilmember Garcia arrived at 2:40 P.M. Budget Worksession Presentation of City Manager's proposed Capital Budget. City Manager Barnett discussed the Proposed 1992-93 Capital Budget for the City of Austin, together with Bill Stockton, Director of Public Works and Transportation. The presentation was illustrated with use of slides. Planning Commission Recommendations Gail Gemberling's presentation of the Planning Commission recommendations are on file in the City Clerk's office. Aviation Capital Budget Charles Gates, Director of the Airport, went over the information in the City Managers proposed budget. Information is on file in the City Clerk's office. Convention Center Capital Budget Sam Driggs discussed the repairs needed for Palmer Auditorium roof, doors, stage, meeting room space, orchestra pit and the parking lot used for Palmer and the Coliseum. Electric Capital Budget - The Electric Department's information regarding their budget is on file in the City Clerk's office. Water and Vastewater Capital Budget Randy Goss, Director of water and Wastewater, illustrated his report by means of slides. MINUTES 1 8/12/92 Parks and Recreation Department and Golf Capital Budget Mike Heitz presented the information for the budget and illustrated by use of slides.
