Councilmember Nofziger called to order the special meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Todd, Mayor Pro Tem Urdy and Councilmember Epstein. He announced the purpose of the meeting was to enter into Executive Session, pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to receive advice from Legal Counsel, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and personnel matters. No final action will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting. Pending/Contemplated Litigation, Section 2, Paragraph e Discussion of State of Texas v. City of Austin, Cause No. 477,213 Land Acquisition, Section 2, Paragraph f Discussion of proposed land acquisition of 3.19 acres located along South First Street near Sand Beach Reserve.
