Mayor Todd called to order the special meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Urdy and Councilmember Shea. PREVIEW OF ITEMS FOR NEXT COUNCIL MEETING (January 20, 1994) 1. 2. Review of Proposed Agenda Items from City Manager for January 20, 1994. Review of Proposed Agenda Items from Council for January 20, 1994 Agenda; * Community Policing Initiatives (Mayor Bruce Todd) The above items vere noted. BRIEFINGS AND DISCUSSIONS 3. Wednesday Council Worksessions: Format, Rules and Procedures. 4. Review of Corporate Calendar for 1994. 5. Downtown Development: • New City Hall • : . Mall Proposals 6. 7. Downtown Museums Matrices for selection of Professional Services. Paving Assessment Policy. Items 3-7 vere discussed by Council, with a suggestion by Mayor Todd to have agenda items by noon on the Thursday two weeks before the designated Council meeting. Mayor Todd said there should be Saturday meetings for discussion of concerns of citizens and said they should be the third Saturday of each month and conducted in various neighborhoods.
