FOUNDED Austin City Council MINUTES * SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OFFICE OF THE MAYOR - - JULY 14, 1994 10:00 Α.Μ. Mayor Todd called to order the meeting of the Council, noting the presence of all of the Council. EXECUTIVE SESSION (No Public Discussion on These Items) The City Council will announce it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, to receive advice from Legal Counsel to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and personnel matters as specifically listed on the meeting agenda. Council would take any subsequent action in the open meeting as listed on the agenda. 1. Discuss Janice Bailey, et al. v. City of Austin; Cause No. 94-07318 2. Discuss Gary Griffin v. City of Austin Firefighters and Police; Cause No. 92-02597, and Gary Griffin and Texas Commission on Human Rights, Plaintiff/Intervenor, v. The City of Austin, et al, Cause No. 92-13271. 3. Discuss real property acquisition for the U.S. 183 project (Parcel 28). 4. Discuss Austin Black Contractors Association, Inc. v. City of Austin, Cause No. 94-CA-269-SS, U.S. District Court, Western District. 5. Discuss legal issues related to possible amendments to Chapter 5-7 of the Austin City Code. 6. 7. Discuss legal issues related to professional services Procurement Act, Chapter 2254, Texas Government Code. Seek legal advice regarding transfer of development rights from City owned property. 8. Discuss legal issues related to properties located within the 504.9 contour line. 9. Seek legal advice regarding School District Development Agreements.
