OFFICE OF THE MAYOR 10:00 Α.Μ. - Mayor Todd called to order the meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Nofziger and Councilmember Garcia. EXECUTIVE SESSION (No Public Discussion on These Items) Executive Session held on item 1, 2, 3, 4, and 10 The City Council will announce it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, to receive advice from Legal Counsel to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and personnel matters as specifically listed on the meeting agenda. Council would take any subsequent action in the open meeting as listed on the agenda. The City Council may also announce it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, to receive advice from Legal Counsel regarding any other item listed on the agenda. Legal Advice Section 551.071 1. Seek legal advice regarding proposed ordinance amending the Land Development Code to extend deadlines for updates to applications. 2. Seek legal advice of Counsel concerning the application of the Fair Labor Standards to EMS employees. 3. Seek legal advice regarding proposed amendments to Chapter 5-7. 4. Discuss status of Black Contractor's Association v. City of Austin; Cause No. 94-CA-269-SS, U.S. District Court, Western District, Austin Division. 5. Discuss settlement of claim of Nathan Boyd. 6. Discuss status of petition submitted by the Single Family Class Ratepayers Outside the Corporate Limits of the City of Austin Requesting Review of the City of Austin's Water Rate Increase in Travis County, Texas. 7.
