FOUNDIO 2019 Austin City Council MINUTES - SPECIAL CALLED MEETING November 16, 1994 TOWN LAKE CENTER 1:30 Ρ.Μ. - : Mayor Todd called the meeting to order noting the absence of Councilmembers Mitchell and Reynolds. Councilmember Mitchell arrived at 2:25 P.M. and Councilmember Reynolds arrived at 2:45 Ρ.Μ. PREVIEW OF ITEMS FOR NEXT COUNCIL MEETING 1. Review of Proposed Agenda Items from City Manager for December 1, 1994. The City Manager, Jesus Garza, stated the Community Corrections Vater/Wastewater situation was being analyzed and this item might possibly be ready for Council on December 1, 1994. 2. Review of Proposed Agenda Items from Council for December 1, 1994. 1) Councilmember Goodman proposed the following item: a) Services for substance-abusing women. 2) Councilmember Garcia proposed the following items: a) Report from Affordable Housing Task Force b) Austin Transportation Study review at Council Worksession, December 7, 1994 and Council action, December 8, 1994. c) Request City Manager to work with PARKS and Athletic Council relating to increasing interest and greater demands for use of ballfields. 3) Councilmember Shea proposed the following items: a) Joint use of facilities Austin Independent School District, Capital Metro, Austin Community College, and Travis County b) Legislative Subcommittee issues relating to Travis County BRIEFINGS AND DISCUSSIONS 3.
