AUSTIN FOUNDED TRI Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING December 02, 1994 TOWN LAKE CENTER 9:00 Α.Μ. - Mayor Pro Tem Nofziger called the meeting to order at 10:10 A.M. noting the absence of Mayor Todd and Councilmembers Mitchell and Reynolds. Mayor Todd arrived at 10:15 Α.Μ. ORDINANCE 1 1. Adopt an ordinance creating a moratorium on development applications in the Barton Springs Zone and the watersheds which contribute to Barton Springs. (Councilmembers Goodman and Shea) Public Hearing closed on Mayor Pro Tem Nofziger's motion, Councilmember Shea's second, 5-0 vote, Councilmembers Mitchell and Reynolds absent. 1st reading approved with amendment changing language in Part 1 to read fourteen (14) days on Councilmember Shea's motion, Councilmember Goodman's second, 4-1 vote, Mayor Todd voting No, Councilmembers Mitchell and Reynolds absent. EXECUTIVE SESSION (No Public Discussion on These Items) Executive Session was held from 10:20 A.M. until 11:10 Α.Μ. The City Council will announce that it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, to receive advice from Legal Counsel, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and personnel matters.
