TY OF AUSTIN FOUNDED 1839 Austin City Council MINUTES EXECUTIVE SESSION July 27, 1995 OFFICE OF THE MAYOR 10:00 Α.Μ. Mayor Todd called the meeting to order, noting the absence of Councilmember Nofziger. EXECUTIVE SESSION (No Public Discussion on These Items) Executive session held at 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The City Council will announce it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, to receive advice from Legal Counsel, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and personnel matters as specifically listed on this agenda. The City Council may also announce it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, to receive advice from Legal Counsel regarding any other item on this agenda. Real Estate Acquisition - Section 551.072 1. Discuss fee simple acquisition of real property and improvements for the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Real Estate - Section 551.072 2. Discuss lease renewal for building located at 1905 East 6th Street. Staff Briefing - Section 551.075 3. 4. Status report on Austin Police Department's re-engineering proposals. (City Council deliberation is not permitted under Section 551.075). Staff briefing on the proposed Infrastructure Ordinance, including its impact on current and future users of City-owned Utility Infrastructure. (City Council deliberation is not permitted under Section 551.075). 5. 6. Staff briefing on the electric revenue requirements, rate comparisons and competition in the electric utility industry. Advice of Counsel - Section 441.071 Discuss legal issues and potential litigation concerning the proposed Utility Infrastructure Ordinance amending the City Code to add Chapter 18-7.
