MINUTES OF THE AUSTIN HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION BOARD OF DIRECTOR'S MEETING August 17, 1995 The meeting was called to order at 3:40 p.m. Present: Bruce Todd, Ronney Reynolds, Jackie Goodman, Brigid Shea, Gus Garcia Absent: Max Nofziger, Eric Mitchell out of room Agenda Item No. 58 (1) Approve minutes of March 23, April 27, May 18, June 29, and July 20, 1995, meetings. Motion The Board, on Board Member Gus Garcia's motion and Board Member Brigid Shea's second, approved the minutes with a 5-0-2 vote. Board Members Max Nofziger and Eric Mitchell were out of the room. Agenda Item No. 59 (2) Presentation by Travis County Commissioner Sam Biscoe relative to Travis County Housing Finance Corporation (TCHFC) Motion No presentation was heard. No action was taken. Agenda Item No. 60 (3) Approve a resolution authorizing the Austin Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) to administer the Travis County Housing Finance Corporation HOME grant of $145,600 awarded by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) designed to provide down payment assistance to first time home buyers and direct the AHFC Manager to negotiate and execute a mutually acceptable agreement Motion The Board approved this item with a 4-0-3 vote. Board Members Max Nofziger, Brigid Shea, and Eric Mitchell were out of the room. • Agenda Item No. 61 (4) Approve a resolution authorizing the Manager of the Austin Housing Finance Corporation to file an application for allocation of Private Activity Bond Authority with the Texas Bond Review Board in the amount of $23,000,000 by August 31, 1995. Motion The Board, on Board Member Gus Garcia's motion and Board Member Jackie Goodman's second, approved this item with a 5-0-2 vote. Board Members Brigid Shea and Eric Mitchell were out of the room.
