Austin City Council MINUTES AUGUST 7,1996 Mayor Todd called the meeting to order, noting the presence of all Councilmembers. 1. Taxation a.Discussion of overlapping taxation. b.Bond issuance schedules and future debt plans. c.Status of FY 1996-97 Budgets Presentation given by Betty Dunkerley. 2. Regional Governance/Collaboration a.Review collaborative efforts of the different taxing entities, b.Identify future potential collaborative efforts. Presentation given by Jim Smith. 3. Transportation Issues a.Discuss sources and funding levels of transportation projects and programs, b.Discuss plans for alleviation of traffic congestion. Presentation given by Mike Aulick. 4.
