Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING FEBRUARY 27,1997 Mayor Todd called the meeting to order, Councilmember Reynolds temporarily absent. Public hearing on peace and safety in East Austin. (Councilmembers Daryl Slusher, Jackie Goodman and Mayor Pro Tern Gus Garcia) Council heard from concerned neighborhood citizens. ADJOURNED at 9:15 p.m. Approved on this the 6th day of March, 1997 on, Mayor Pro Tern Garcia's motion, Councilmember Goodman's second, 7-0 vote.
