Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OCTOBER 27,1997-7:00 P.M. Mayor Watson called the meeting to order, noting the absence of Councilmembers Griffith and Slusher. Councilmember Slusher came at 10:34 p.m. Public Hearing on annexation of U.S. 183 West Assistant City Manager Toby Futrell presented areas of information on the annexation issues and where these could be located. Several department directors and assistant directors presented the different areas of the service plan. 179 Citizens signed appearance cards (on file in City Clerk's Office) Close the public hearing on Councilmember Slusher's motion, Councilmember Spelman's second, 6-0 vote, Councilmember Griffith absent. ADJOURNED at 11:47 p.m. on Councilmember Slusher's motion, Councilmember Spelman's second, 6-0 vote, Councilmember Griffith absent. Approved on this the 20th day of November, 1997 on, Councilmember Spelman's motion, Councilmember Lewis' second, 7-0 with Mayor Pro Tern Garcia abstaining on Special Called meeting of November 12,1997.
