Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING NOVEMBER 4,1997-6:30 P.M. Mayor Watson called the meeting to order, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tern Garcia. Public hearing on the annexation of Four Points. Assistant City Manager Toby Futrell presented areas of information on the annexation issues and where these could be located. Several department directors and assistant directors presented the different areas of the service plan. 56 Citizens signed appearance cards (on file in City Clerk's Office) Closed the public hearing on Councilmember Slusher's motion, Councilmember Spelman's second, 6-0 vote, Mayor Pro Tern Garcia absent. ADJOURNED at 8:39 p.m. on Councilmember Griffith's motion, Councilmember Slusher's second, 6-0 vote, Mayor Pro Tern Garcia absent. Approved on this the 20th day of November, 1997 on, Councilmember Spelman's motion, Councilmember Lewis' second, 7-0 with Mayor Pro Tern Garcia abstaining on Special Called meeting of November 12,1997.
