Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING NOVEMBER 18,1997-6:30 P.M. Mayor Watson called the meeting to order, noting the absence of Councilmembers Lewis and Spelman. Councilmember Spelman arrived at 6:41 p.m. Public hearing on the annexation of Village at Western Oaks. Assistant City Manager Toby Futrell presented areas of information on the annexation issues and where these could be located. Several department directors and assistant directors presented the different areas of the service plan. 8 Citizens signed appearance cards (on file in City Clerk's Office) Close the public hearing on Mayor Pro Tern Garcia's motion, Councilmember Slusher's second, 6-0 vote, Councilmember Lewis absent. ADJOURNED at 7:08 p.m. on Councilmember Spelman's motion, Mayor Pro Tern Garcia's second, 6-0 vote, Councilmember Lewis absent. Approved on this the 18th day of December, 1998 on Councilmember Goodman's motion, Councilmember Slusher's second, 6-0 vote, Mayor Watson absent.
