Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING THURSDAY, MAY 12,1998 Councilmember Slusher called the meeting to order, noting the absence of Mayor Watson and Councilmember Goodman. The Public hearing for limited purpose annexation of the Del Valle area will be held at 7:00 p.m. at South Rural Community Center, located at 3518 FM 973 South, Del Valle Texas. Public hearing held, no action taken Motion to close public hearing on Council Member Griffith's motion, Council Member Slusher's second, 5-0 vote, Mayor Watson and Council Member Goodman absent Speaker cards filed at the City Clerk's Office. ADJOURNED at 7:45 p.m. on Councilmember Lewis' motion, Council Member Spelman's second, 50 vote, Mayor Watson and Council Member Goodman absent. Approved the minutes for Regular Meeting of April 30, 1998, Special Called Meeting of May 12, 1998, Worksession of May 13, 1998, and Regular Meeting of May 14, 1998, on this the 21st day of May 1998 on Mayor Pro Tern Garcia's motion, Council Member Lewis' second, 5-0 vote, Council Members Goodman and Spelman off the dais, Special Called Meeting of April 22,1998, postponed.
