Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING August 04, 1998 Mayor Pro Tern Garcia called the meeting to order, Mayor Watson temporarily absent. The Austin City Council will convene in a special called meeting, for the following purposes: Briefing and discussion of Smart Growth Matrix and Austin Marketplace development proposal. Discussion held, no action taken. ADJOURNED at 4:50 p.m. on Councilmember Griffith's motion, Councilmember Slusher's second, 7-0 vote. Approved on this the 13th day of August, 1998 on Councilmember Spelman's motion, Councilmember Goodman's second, 6-0 vote, Mayor Pro Tern Garcia absent.
