NOVEMBER 2.2000 The Board meeting of the Austin Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) was convened at 10:17 a.m. The following agenda were the AHFC items considered by the Austin Housing Finance Corporation's Board of Directors. BOARD OF DIRECTOR'S MEETING OF AUSTIN HOUSING FINANCE COPRORATION AHFC-1. Approval of minutes for Austin Housing Finance Corporation Special Called Meeting of October 12,2000. The minutes for the Austin Housing Finance Corporation Special Called Meeting of September 12, 2000 was approved on Vice President Goodman's motion, Board Member Alvarez* second by a 7-0 vote. AHFC-2. Staff will give a briefing to the Austin Housing Finance Corporation Board regarding housing programs and current year housing initiatives. This motion to postpone this item for one week at staffs request was approved on Board Member Alvarez* motion, President Watson's second by a 7-0 vote. AHFC-3. Approve a Resolution authorizing the negotiation and execution of a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Program forgivable loan in an amount not to exceed $146,000 to the Guadalupe Neighborhood Development Corporation to provide principle buy-down and closing cost assistance to four (4) first-time homebuyers of new single-family homes in the Guadalupe Neighborhood. This motion to postponed this item for one week at staffs request was approved on Board Member Thomas* motion, Board Member Alvarez* second by a 7-0 vote. AHFC-4. Approve a Resolution authorizing the negotiation and execution of a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Program forgivable loan in the amount not to exceed $75,600 to American Youthworks, Inc. to assist in lot acquisition and construction of three (3) single-family homes for low and moderate income first-time homebuyers in the Springdale/Webberville Neighborhood. This motion to postponed this item for one week at staffs request was approved on Board Member Thomas* motion, Board Member Alvarez* second by a 7-0 vote. AHFC-5. Approve a Resolution authorizing the negotiation and execution of a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Program forgivable loan in the amount not to exceed $500,000 to the Mary Lee Foundation to assist in the acquisition of multifamily transitional housing located at 1322 and 1324 Lamar Square Drive. This motion to postponed this item for one week at staff's request was approved on Board Member Thomas' motion, Board Member Alvarez' second by a 7-0 vote. AHFC-6. Approve a Resolution authorizing the negotiation and execution of a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Program forgivable loan in an amount not to exceed $650,000 to the Texas Reinvestment Corporation to assist in the rehabilitation of affordable multifamily rental housing located at 2221/2225 Elmont Drive and 2222 Townlake Circle. This motion to postponed this item for week at staffs request was approved on Board Member Thomas' motion, Board Member Alvarez' second by a 7-0 vote. The motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:20 a.m. was approved on Vice President Goodman's motion, Board Member Alvarez' second by a 7-0 vote.
