Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING THURSDAY, AUGUST 9, 2001 The City Council of Austin, Texas, convened in a Special Called Meeting on Thursday, August 9, 2001 in the Board Room at Lower Colorado River Authority Hancock Building, 3700 Lake Austin Boulevard. The meeting was called to order at 6:24 p.m. 2. Conduct a public hearing on the fiscal year 2001-2001 proposed budget for Police, Fire, Emergency Medical Services, and Municipal Court. The public hearing was closed on Council Member Wynn's motion, Council Member Slusher's second by a 7-0 vote. 1. Consider a revision to the adopted budget schedule as it relates to public hearings. Resolution No. 010809-01 was approved on Council Member Griffith's motion, Mayor Pro Tern Goodman's second by a 7-0 vote. The motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:27 p.m. was approved on Council Member Slusher's motion, Council Member Wynn's second by a 7-0 vote. The amended minutes for the regular meeting of July 19, 2001, Special Called Meetings of August 2, August 6, and August 9, 2001 and the minutes for regular meeting of August 9, 2001 were approved.
