Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OATH OF OFFICE FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9,2001 The City Council of Austin, Texas, convened in a Special Called meeting on Friday, November 9, 2001. at the Austin Convention Center, Ballroom A, 500 Cesar Chavez Street. Mayor Watson called the meeting to order at 2:15 p.m. 1. Administer the Oath of Office to the newly elected Mayor. The Honorable Judges Lora Livingston, Travis County District Court 261st and Bob Perkins, Travis County District Court 331st, administered the oath of office to Mayor The motion to adjourn the meeting at 2:35 p.m. was approved on Council Member Griffith's motion, Council Member Wynn's second by a 7-0 vote. The minutes from the Oath of Office on November 9, 2001 and the regular meeting of December 6, 2001 were approved on Council Member Griffith's motion, Council Member Slusher's second by a 5-0 vote.
