Austin City Council MINUTES COUNCIL WORKSESSION WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 9, 2002 The City Council of Austin, Texas convened in a Worksession on Wednesday, January 9, 2002 at One Texas Center, 505 Barton Springs Road, 3rd floor training room, Austin, Texas. Mayor Garcia called the meeting to order at 10:13 a.m. BRIEFINGS 1. Briefing on proposed amendment to Brackenridge Hospital Lease regarding Reproductive Health Services. The presentation was made by Sally Henly, Attorney, Law Department, Trish Young, Chief Executive Officer, Primary Care Clinics, John Stephens, Director Finance Department, and Betty Dunkerley, Assistant City Manager. 2. Overview of the City Auditor's 2001 accomplishments. The presentation was made by Steve Morgan, City Auditor, Joan Ewell, Auditor. The motion to adjourn the meeting at 12:10 p.m. was approved on Council Member Griffith's motion, Council Member Wynn's second by a 5-0 vote. Council Members Slusher and Thomas was absent. The minutes of the January 9, 2002 Worksession approved on Council Member Wynn's motion, Mayor Pro Tern Goodman's second by a 6-0-1 vote. Council Member Slusher abstained.
