Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING SATURDAY, JUNE 15, 2002 INVOCATION - Reverend Joe Parker, David Chapel Missionary Baptist Church 1. Administer the Oath of Office to the newly elected Mayor, Council Members for Place Two, Place Five, and Place Six of the City Council. The Honorable Judge Gisela Triana, Travis County Court-at-Law No. 5 administered the oath of office to Council Members Dunkerley, Goodman and Slusher. Mayor Pro Tern Goodman called the meeting to order at 6:21 p.m. 2. Selection of Mayor Pro Tern A motion was made to as Mayor Pro Tern on Council Member Slusher's motion, Council Member Dunkerley's second by a 5-0 vote. Mayor Garcia and Council Member Alvarez were absent. The motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:00 p.m. was approved on Council Member Slusher's motion, Council Member Wynn's second by a 5-0 vote. Mayor Garcia and Council Member Alvarez were absent.
