CITY COUNCELWORKSESSION MINUTES NOVEMBER 6,2002 Austin City Council MINUTES WORK SESSION WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6,2002 The following represents the actions taken by the Austin City Council in the order they occurred during the meeting. The City Council of Austin, Texas convened in a Work Session on Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at One Texas Center, 505 Barton Springs Road, 3RD Floor Training Room, Austin, Texas. Mayor Garcia called the meeting to order at 10:05 a.m. Briefing 1. Update on the Music Commission's activities, accomplishments and goals related to the music industry in Austin. The presentation was made by Kevin Conner, Chairman, Music Commission. 2. Briefing on the Downtown Access Mobility Plan (DAMP). The presentation was made by Lisa Gordon, Assistant City Manager; Austan Librach, Director, Transportation Planning & Sustainability Department; Gordon Derr, Project Engineer; Jana McCann, Design Officer; and Tom Bensen, Project Engineer for Lance Armstrong Bikeway. The motion to adjourn the meeting at 12:28 p.m. was approved on Council Member Thomas's motion, Council Member Alvarez' second on a 7-0 vote. The minutes for November 6, 2002 were approved on November 21, 2002 on Council Member Thomas' motion, Council Member Dunkerley's second on a 6-0 vote. Mayor Pro Tern Goodman was absent.
