Austin City Council MINUTES WORK SESSION WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2003 The following represents the actions taken by the Austin City Council in the order they occurred during the meeting. The City Council of Austin, Texas convened in a Work Session on Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at One Texas Center, SOS Barton Springs Road, 3rd Floor Training Room, Austin, Texas, Mayor Garcia called the meeting to order at 10:03 a.m. 1. Status report by Envision Central Texas on their regional planning activities in Central Texas. The presentation was made by Beverly Silas, Executive Director, Envision Centra! Texas. 2. Water & Wastewater Utility Financial Outlook & Review of Operations Evaluation. The presentation was made by Chris Lippe, Director, Water and Wastewater; Perwez Moheet, Assistant Director, Administrative Support, Water and Wastewater; David Anders, Utility Finance Manager, Water and Wastewater; Bill Neuman, Public Financial Management Inc.; Nicole Westerman, Public Financial Management Inc.; Dean Kaplan, Public Financial Management Inc.; and Darrell Pierce, Public Financial Management, Inc. The motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:49 a.m. was approved on Council Member Siusher's motion, Council Member Dunkerley's second on a 6-0 vote. Council Member Thomas was off the dias. The minutes for the Worksession of February 12, 2003 were approved on February 27, 2003 on Mayor Pro Tern Goodman's motion, Council Member DunkeHey's second on a 6-0 vote.
