CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION FEBRUARY 26,2003 Austin City Council MINUTES WORKSESSION WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26,2003 The following represents the actions taken by the Austin City Council in the order they occurred during the meeting. The City Council of Austin, Texas convened in a Work Session on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at One Texas Center, 505 Barton Springs Road, 3rd Floor Training Room, Austin, Texas. Mayor Garcia called the meeting to order at 10:25 a.m. Briefings 2. Progress Report on City of Austin Telework Program. The presentation was made by: Brownlee Bowmer, ISD Chief Information Officer, Wendy Frizzell, TPSD Conversation Specialist and Fred Blood, TSPD Manager. 1. Briefing from the Planning Commission on the commission's goals, work plans and the status of Neighborhood Planning and other long-range planning efforts. The presentation was made by: Lydia Ortiz, Chair of the Planning Commission; and Commission Members Chris Riley, Matt Moore, Dave Sullivan and Michael Casias. 3. Discuss implementation of and training for the Agenda Management System (AMS), which will be used to generate the City Council agenda. The formal training on the AMS was postponed to March 5,2003. The motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:21 a.m. was approved on Council Member Slusher's motion, Council Member Wynn's second on a 5-0 vote. Mayor Pro Tern Goodman and Council Member Thomas were absent. The minutes for the worksession of February 26,2003 were approved on March 20,2003 on Mayor Pro Tern Goodman's motion, Council Member Wynn's second on a 7-0 vote.
