CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL CALLED MINUTES MONDAY, JUNK 9. 2003 Austin City Council MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING MONDAY, JUNE 9,2003 The City Council of Austin, Texas, convened in a Special Called Meeting on Monday, June 9, 2003 at the Wood cliff Baptist Church. 11015 Dessau Road, Austin, Texas. Mayor Garcia called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Conduct a public hearing for the full purpose annexation of the Walnut Creek Municipal Annexation Plan Area (Approximately 315 acres located northwest of the intersection of Braker Lane and Dessau Road). The presentation was made by Ben Luckens, Transportation, Planning and Sustainability; Michael Boyle, P.E., Water and Wastewater Department; Lisa Gordon, Assistant City Manager; and David Lloyd, Law Department. The public hearing was closed on Council Member Slushor's motion, Mayor Pro Tern Goodman's second on a 4-0 vote. Council Members Alvarez, Thomas, and \Vynn were absent. The motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:35 p.m. was approved on Council Member Slushcr's motion, Mayor Pro Tern Goodman's second on a 4-0 vote. Council Members Alvarez, Thomas, and Wvnn were absent.
