AUSTIN CITY COUNCIL POLICY RETREAT WORK SESSION WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 29, 2012 9:00 A.M. PALMER AUDITORIUM, 2ND FLOOR AGENDA The City Council may go into a closed session under the Open Meetings Act, Section 551.071, of the Texas Government Code, to receive advice from legal counsel on any item on this agenda. 1. Using the Comprehensive Plan for policy guidance and planning. (Council Member Morrison) 2. Collaborating with counties and school districts located within City of Austin boundaries. (Council Member Tovo) 3. Review of past and existing City youth programs. (Council Member Tovo) 4. Community public safety goals and resource allocation priorities. (Council Member Spelman) 5. Council committee structures. (Council Member Riley) The City of Austin is committed to compliance with the American with Disabilities Act.
