AUSTIN, TEXAS 78768 ROOMS 1 & 2 Senior Officials Workshop for All-Hazards Preparedness Agenda Sign-in / Continental Breakfast 9:00-10:00 Introduction Discussion of workshop goals and objectives, and introduction of participants. 10:00-10:40 Culture of Preparedness Discussion of all-hazards preparedness and leaders' roles and responsibilities 10:40-11:00 Integrated Partnerships Discussion of national response framework, integrated partnerships, governments' roles and responsibilities, and non-government organizations' roles and responsibilities. 11:00-12:30 Organizing for Success Discussion of the Minnesota bridge collapse, the preparedness cycle, national planning scenarios, an incident command system, and Emergency Operations Center functions 12:30-2:30 Practical Exercise Discussion of hypothetical mass casualty/catastrophic event scenario, crisis communication, recovery, and other considerations 2:30-3:00 Road Ahead Discussion of an action plan and summary/review of course objectives.
